At least two individuals lost their lives, and five others sustained injuries in a car accident in Andhra Pradesh’s Srikakulam district. The incident occurred on the national highway near Palavalasa in Nandigam Mandal. The car, traveling from Sonepur in Odisha to Visakhapatnam, collided with a stationary van.
The fatal accident happened while a patient named Balaiah was being transported from Sonepur to Visakhapatnam for medical treatment. Tragically, Balaiah and another passenger accompanying him were killed, while five others were injured.
The injured victims were taken to Tekkali’s government hospital for treatment. Due to the critical condition of one of the injured individuals, they were transferred to Srikakulam for further medical care. Police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
