A car crashed into the home of Tollywood actor Dharma in the posh Jubilee Hills area of Film Nagar, Hyderabad, early Friday morning. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident, as confirmed by the police. The vehicle, driven by intoxicated youths, lost control and crashed into Dharma’s house after midnight, causing damage to the gate and the premises.
Police stated that the car entered the property and came to a stop after the collision, which also resulted in a part of the boundary wall collapsing. Upon hearing the impact, Dharma and his family members woke up and promptly informed the police about the incident. The authorities arrived at the scene, detained the driver, who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol, and initiated an investigation into the matter.
In a separate unusual event, a drunk individual stole a bus belonging to the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC). The man, identified as Venkanna from Palakurthi, took a hired bus from Jangaon bus stand and drove it approximately 21 kilometers towards Suryapet. The bus eventually stopped after colliding with a cement block near the Singarajupally toll gate, leading to the arrest of the accused by the police.
According to reports, Venkanna, a tractor driver, aimed to travel to Tirupati and resorted to stealing the bus after finding no available trains at the nearby railway station. He successfully started the bus using its toolkit and proceeded to drive along the Suryapet route. The theft was discovered when the bus was involved in an accident near the toll plaza, where Venkanna struggled to reverse the vehicle, raising suspicions among the toll plaza staff who then alerted the authorities.
