Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is set to visit Gujarat on January 28. During his visit, he will first visit a gurdwara in Ahmedabad and then address the media regarding the welfare schemes implemented by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab. The AAP Gujarat state organization General Secretary, Manoj Sorathiya, announced the visit, mentioning that CM Mann will share details of the welfare schemes and development work carried out by the Punjab government.
Sorathiya expressed delight in welcoming Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to Gujarat, emphasizing the positive transformation witnessed in Punjab under his leadership. Mann is expected to discuss the people-centric initiatives introduced in Punjab and their impact, focusing on the governance measures initiated by the AAP government. The visit aims to showcase various welfare programs, including Punjab’s universal healthcare initiative, which has garnered attention in multiple states.
The visit signifies the AAP’s commitment to expanding its governance model beyond Punjab, aiming to bring about positive changes in Gujarat as well. The party is dedicated to offering improved governance to the people of Gujarat, aligning with the successful governance practices implemented in Punjab. Mann’s itinerary in Gujarat includes a visit to a gurdwara and a media interaction in Ahmedabad, with no public rallies scheduled as part of the program.
This visit comes as part of AAP’s efforts to strengthen its organizational presence in Gujarat and gear up for the upcoming local body elections. Mann’s visit follows previous trips to Gujarat, where he was accompanied by AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal. Both leaders have engaged in various activities in the state, interacting with party members, addressing gatherings, and focusing on issues concerning farmers, as part of the party’s broader outreach initiatives.
