China’s top table tennis players, Wang Chuqin and Sun Yingsha, are set to headline the 2026 World Table Tennis (WTT) Singapore Smash. The event will feature strong competition, with Wang and Sun leading the player list.
The tournament, scheduled from February 19 to March 1, will offer 2,000 world ranking points. In the men’s singles category, Wang is joined by other top players like Lin Shidong, Hugo Calderano from Brazil, Tomokazu Harimoto of Japan, and Sweden’s Truls Moregard.
China dominates the women’s singles category with Sun Yingsha at the forefront, followed by Wang Manyu, Kuai Man, Chen Xingtong, and Wang Yidi. The Chinese contingent also includes other talented players competing in both the men’s and women’s events.
In a separate event, the WTT Champions Doha saw intense competition, with Lin Shidong and Wang Manyu emerging as top seeds. Lin faced a tough battle against Germany’s Benedikt Duda but managed to secure a spot in the quarterfinals. Wang, on the other hand, displayed a dominant performance with a straight-game victory.
