A delegation of Congress legislators from Karnataka visited the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and expressed their admiration for its grand construction. They described the experience as emotionally enriching and spiritually fulfilling after having darshan of Lord Ram. Karnataka Congress MLA T.B. Jayachandra mentioned the deep sentimental attachment between Karnataka and Ayodhya, emphasizing the emotional bond between the two regions due to the connection of Lord Ram to Ayodhya and Lord Hanuman to Karnataka.
Jayachandra shared that the visit to the temple was a memorable and blessed experience for all members of the delegation. He appreciated the unique architecture of the temple and expressed a desire to visit again in the future. The delegation, consisting of around 15 legislators and senior leaders, including former and sitting ministers, was impressed by the craftsmanship and design of the temple.
Highlighting Karnataka’s association with the temple, Jayachandra noted that the idol of Ram Lalla was sculpted by renowned artist Arun Yogiraj from Mysuru, Karnataka. He also mentioned that the stone used in the idol’s construction was sourced from Karnataka, further strengthening the emotional link between the state and Ayodhya. Another Karnataka Congress MLA, Ashok Pattan, also praised the grandeur and intricate craftsmanship of the temple, considering the visit a proud and spiritual moment for all delegation members.
