The Delhi BJP criticized the former AAP government led by Arvind Kejriwal for leaving behind a pollution issue for the Rekha Gupta government. Despite this, they commended the Chief Minister’s performance in the first 10 months in office. The BJP spokesperson highlighted that pollution levels have improved under the current government, although more work is needed to address the issue.
The BJP spokesperson mentioned that the current government has made significant progress in various areas within the short span of 10 months. They emphasized the improvements in Delhi’s road transport system, including the introduction of electric buses and the repair of potholes. Additionally, the government has enhanced road infrastructure by filling over 50,000 potholes and laying new roads.
Regarding healthcare facilities, the BJP representative stated that the current government has replaced fraudulent Mohalla Clinics with ‘Ayushman Arogya Mandirs’ equipped with doctors and diagnostic facilities. They also highlighted the government’s efforts in cleaning the Yamuna river and providing relief to parents through the ‘Delhi School Fee Regulation Act’.
The BJP spokesperson further mentioned the establishment of ‘Atal Canteens’ to assist the underprivileged in Delhi. The government has renovated thousands of abandoned flats for the poor and plans to allocate them in January 2026. Moreover, a penalty waiver scheme has been introduced to alleviate the burden of water bills on families in Delhi.
