Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta introduced the ‘CM Jansunwai Portal’ and a mobile app to facilitate residents in submitting complaints and grievances online and offline. The platform aims to enhance citizen engagement and administrative accountability. Gupta emphasized that this initiative allows people from all parts of Delhi to directly communicate their issues to the government.
The Chief Minister mentioned that call centers will manage submissions, with a robust feedback system and appellate authorities ensuring prompt resolutions. The goal of the project is to address concerns from across the city and offer timely solutions. While physical ‘Jan Sunwai’ sessions will continue, the digital platform enables citizens to lodge complaints from anywhere, enhancing accessibility, transparency, and efficiency.
Gupta highlighted that the government is working on a project monitoring system to oversee the progress of official schemes and ensure their timely execution. She revealed that the existing 75 online services provided by the Delhi government will be integrated into the new portal to establish a unified grievance redressal framework. Additionally, she criticized the protests by Youth Congress workers during the India AI Summit, labeling the incident as “extremely shameful” and indicative of a “petty and anti-national mindset.”
Officials anticipate that the portal will enhance complaint tracking, response time, and governance transparency, offering citizens a single digital platform to engage with government departments.
