The Delhi Police’s Special Cell has apprehended a shooter associated with the Naveen Dabas alias Jora gang for his involvement in a shooting incident at a medical store in Haryana’s Jhajjar district. The arrested individual, identified as Chirag alias Sachin, 22, hails from Kharkhoda in Haryana’s Sonipat district and was captured by a combined team of the Special Cell’s Northern Range and STF units.
During the operation in Delhi’s Rohini area, law enforcement recovered a sophisticated semi-automatic pistol and four live cartridges from Chirag’s possession. Chirag reportedly worked as an active shooter for Dabas alias Jora, who is believed to be running the gang network from Dubai.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Special Cell, Narra Chaitanya mentioned that Chirag, along with his associates Mohit alias Chand and Jatin, allegedly fired at a medical store in Jhajjar on May 5 to extort money from the owner. Following the shooting, gangster Naveen Dabas alias Jora purportedly issued threats to the store owner through phone calls.
