Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi announced projects worth Rs 538 crore in Vadodara, emphasizing the state government’s commitment to development. The projects, including a focus on technology-driven policing under the ‘Vishwas Project,’ aim to enhance public safety. Sanghavi highlighted the establishment of an advanced surveillance network integrating government and private CCTV cameras in the city.
State Minister Manisha Vakil noted that the inauguration of Cluster-4 under ‘Vishwas 2.0’ signifies a move towards technology-led policing. The state police chief, K. L. N. Rao, mentioned improvements in crime detection and reduced crime rates due to the integration of CCTV networks and modern technologies. Vadodara Police Commissioner Narsimha Komar highlighted the implementation of the project across various cities in the state.
Sanghavi also inaugurated a new building for the Public Trust Registration Office and the Joint Charity Commissioner in Vadodara. The G+2 structure, built at a cost of Rs 4.12 crore, includes office and courtrooms, staff rooms, and amenities for men, women, and persons with disabilities. The campus development works feature a garden, internal roads, and rainwater harvesting facilities.
