Diksha Dagar showed resilience in challenging weather conditions to clinch her first Top-5 finish of the 2026 season at the Australian Women’s Classic. Battling strong winds and rain on the Central Coast, she carded a remarkable 1-under 71, one of the few players to finish under par in tough conditions.
Her steady performance throughout the tournament led her to tie for fifth place, making her the top Indian finisher of the week. Despite facing setbacks during the final round, Diksha’s determination shone through as she bounced back with crucial birdies to secure her position in the Top-5.
On the other hand, Pranavi Urs faced a challenging final day, slipping to 14th place after struggling to find momentum. Despite a promising start, she finished with a 6-over 78, unable to maintain her position in the Top-5. The tournament saw Australia’s Kelsey Bennett emerge victorious, claiming her first Ladies European Tour title with a four-shot win.
