Elaborate arrangements are being made for President Droupadi Murmu’s visit to Ayodhya on March 19. The road leading to the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple is being decorated with saffron flags and banners featuring President Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
District Magistrate Nikhil Tikaram Funde mentioned that special arrangements are being made for the visit, ensuring a hassle-free event. VIP darshan will be closed on the day of the visit, but common people will have access to the temple, except during the President’s visit.
Security measures have been briefed to the officials by SSP Ayodhya, Gaurav Grover. From the President’s arrival at the airport to her route to the venue, all aspects have been meticulously planned to ensure a smooth visit for everyone.
President Murmu is set to take part in various religious ceremonies at the Ram Mandir Ayodhya, including the installation of the Ram Yantra and Vedic rituals as part of the Hindu New Year celebrations.
Officials are making arrangements for nearly 5,000 special guests, including religious and social leaders, who have been invited for the occasion. The temple trust plans to open access to additional shrines within the complex for devotees after the President’s program, allowing about 5,000 devotees daily through a pass-based system.
