The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Karnataka is advancing swiftly, with 95.10% of Enumeration Forms (EFs) handed out to eligible voters. The latest data from the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Karnataka, reveals that 5,27,15,809 Enumeration Forms have been distributed, covering 95.10% of the total.
As of June 16, Karnataka’s electoral rolls include 5,54,32,314 electors. The house-to-house enumeration and digitization process is ongoing from June 30 to July 29, 2026. The distribution effort has been completed in 42,834 polling stations, representing 72.54% of all stations, with an additional 8,216 stations (13.91%) achieving over 90% distribution.
Regarding digitization, 1,99,51,636 Enumeration Forms, equivalent to 35.99%, have been digitized. Notably, 17 polling stations have achieved 100% digitization, while 1,454 stations have surpassed the 90% digitization milestone.
The Election Commission has received 2,21,814 Enumeration Forms through online submissions, constituting 0.40% of the total electorate. In the verification process, 11,89,525 electors under the ASDDO category have been identified for further scrutiny. The ongoing Special Intensive Revision aims to update and refine Karnataka’s electoral rolls by verifying each elector’s details through a comprehensive door-to-door exercise, with verification and digitization activities continuing until July 29, 2026.
