Five individuals, including three family members, lost their lives in a tragic road accident in Telangana’s Mahabubnagar district. The incident occurred at Palakonda junction on the Mahabubnagar bypass road when a speeding sports bike collided with a car making a U-turn. Among the casualties were the young rider of the sports bike and three occupants of the car, including two children and a woman.
One woman from the car sustained injuries and is in critical condition after being taken to a hospital for treatment. The deceased victims were identified as Aamir (18 months old), Huzefa (8 years old), and Ghousia (30 years old), all passengers in the car. The collision caused severe damage to the rear part of the car due to the high speed of the sports bike.
The sports bike, reportedly traveling at 140 kmph from Hyderabad, crashed into the car, leading to the tragic accident. Local residents have raised concerns about young motorcycle racing enthusiasts using the Mahabubnagar bypass road for racing activities, endangering other road users. In a separate incident, two individuals, including an actor and a cameraman, lost their lives in a car crash on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) at Adibatla near Hyderabad.
The victims were identified as K. Bharat Kanth (31), an actor, and G. Sai Trilok (31), a cameraman, both hailing from Nellore in Andhra Pradesh. Bharath Kanth had appeared in the Telugu movie ‘Tenant’ (2024) and had minor roles in other films, while Trilok worked as a cameraman in Tollywood productions. Additionally, a car caught fire after colliding with a JCB in Andhra Pradesh’s Markapuram district. Fortunately, all five occupants of the car escaped with minor injuries after the vehicle caught fire following the collision.
