Foreign Ministers from various countries have arrived in New Delhi for the second India-Arab Foreign Ministers’ Meeting set for Saturday. Among them are the Foreign Ministers of Libya, Eltaher S M Elbaour, and Somalia, Abdisalam Ali. The Ministry of External Affairs welcomed these dignitaries, expressing optimism about strengthening bilateral ties.
League of Arab States (LAS) Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit also arrived in New Delhi to participate in the upcoming meetings. The Ministry extended a warm welcome to Gheit, emphasizing the commitment to enhancing India-Arab partnerships. Additionally, Foreign Ministers from Comoros, Palestine, and Sudan have also arrived in New Delhi for the event.
India, along with the United Arab Emirates, is hosting the second India-Arab Foreign Ministers Meeting. This meeting aims to bolster existing cooperation and broaden the partnership between the countries. The upcoming meeting follows a decade since the first meeting in Bahrain in 2016, where key areas of collaboration were identified.
