Former captain Deepti Sharma’s unbeaten 45 and Deandra Dottin’s 40 not out helped UP Warriorz Women reach 143/5 in 20 overs against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 match at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai.

UP Warriorz staged a remarkable recovery from 50 for 5, with Dottin and Deepti forming an unbeaten 93-run partnership for the sixth wicket, steering their team to a competitive total.

Despite a shaky start, UP Warriorz found stability as Dottin and Deepti absorbed pressure, rotated the strike effectively, and built a solid partnership, setting a challenging target of 143/5 for RCB to chase.

The partnership between Dottin and Deepti marked the second-highest sixth-wicket stand in WPL history, showcasing their resilience and batting prowess.

For RCB, Lauren Bell and Shreyanka Patil impressed with the ball, but UP Warriorz managed to post a defendable total, setting up an intriguing chase for RCB.
