The Gujarat unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has set up a state-level core group, the Pradesh Sankalan Samiti, in preparation for the upcoming local self-government elections. State BJP President Jagdish Vishwakarma announced the committee after discussions with the party’s national leadership and advisory board.
The newly formed core group includes prominent figures such as Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Union Minister C. R. Patil, Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, and several other key members. The announcement coincided with a state-level organizational meeting held at the BJP headquarters in Gandhinagar.
Vishwakarma emphasized the importance of organizational readiness and detailed planning for the elections, extending from district and city units to booth levels. The party plans to launch a comprehensive door-to-door outreach campaign to connect with voters and highlight the BJP’s achievements in Gujarat under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.
State BJP leaders expressed confidence in contesting the elections with full organizational strength, aiming to continue the party’s successful track record in electoral victories. They outlined plans for a robust contact campaign to engage households and enhance public outreach, along with a focused and efficient election strategy.
