Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel participated in separate prayer gatherings for former minister Mohansinh Rathwa and State Organising Secretary Mahesh Patange. He paid respects and consoled the families of the deceased leaders. Patel first visited the prayer service for Mohansinh Rathwa at a college campus in Chhota Udepur district, offering floral tributes and condolences.
The prayer meeting for Mohansinh Rathwa was attended by various political figures, including state BJP president Jagdish Vishwakarma and MPs from both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Rathwa, a prominent tribal leader in Gujarat, passed away at the age of 82 after a long illness. He had a notable political career spanning five decades, serving as a minister and advocating for tribal welfare.
Following this, the Chief Minister also attended a prayer meeting for Mahesh Patange, the late State Organising Secretary of Vidya Bharati Gujarat Pradesh. Patange, known as Maheshji, was honored by Patel and others at the gathering. State BJP president Jagdish Vishwakarma accompanied the Chief Minister, along with various personalities from social, educational, and political backgrounds.
