2022 Champions Gujarat Titans (GT) will play against five-time winners Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their final group stage match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Gujarat Titans hold the second spot in the points table with 16 points in 13 matches and have secured a spot in the IPL 2026 playoffs. They aim to end the league stage strongly for a top-two finish, coming off a strong victory against the Kolkata Knight Riders.
On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are currently at the sixth position in the points table with 12 points in 13 matches. To stay in the playoffs qualification race, they must win their last match against GT. CSK also needs a significant victory to boost their net run rate, which could be crucial in securing a playoff spot if other results favor them.
In IPL 2026, CSK and GT have met nine times, with Gujarat emerging victorious in five matches and Chennai winning four. The match is scheduled for Friday, May 21, at 7:30 PM IST at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The GT vs CSK match will be televised on Star Sports channels, and JioHotstar will live-stream the game for viewers.
