Actress Harshita Gaur, gearing up for the release of ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’, celebrated a working birthday on set. Co-actor Ali Fazal arranged for a cook to prepare a special meal for the production team.

The film marks the big-screen debut of the fan-favorite series ‘Mirzapur’. It promises to bring together iconic characters in a cinematic experience, maintaining the raw essence that made the series popular.

Gaur expressed, “‘Mirzapur’ has been a journey of immense growth for me, not just as an actor, but as a person.” She shared her deep connection with her character Dimpy and the personal growth it brought.

Shooting in Mirzapur for the first time added authenticity to the film. Gaur reminisced about the emotional experience of filming in real locations, highlighting her birthday night shoot as a cherished memory.

Ali Fazal’s gesture of arranging a special meal for the production team added to the memorable moments on set. Gaur recalled a funny incident of mistakenly eating mutton galouti kebabs, thinking they were mushroom galoutis.

‘Mirzapur: The Movie’ reunites the ensemble cast, including Ali Fazal, Abhishek Banerjee, Divyendu, and Pankaj Tripathi. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on September 4, 2026.
