Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini emphasized the state government’s firm stance on law and order, stating that any negligence in crime control will not be tolerated. He highlighted that accountability will be enforced on officers in areas where crime remains unchecked, with potential demotions as a consequence. Saini stressed the importance of police effectiveness, urging officers to address rising crime rates and illegal activities through introspection and concrete solutions.
He emphasized the duty of the police and administration to promptly address complaints from citizens, particularly women, regarding crime or illegal practices. Saini reiterated that maintaining law and order is a top priority for the state government, with zero tolerance for any lapses. The Chief Minister instructed officers to escalate efforts against crime and drugs to ensure a safe environment and effective governance in the state.
Saini also announced that the upcoming state Budget will prioritize the welfare of all citizens and societal segments. He highlighted the inclusive approach taken in the budget formulation process, ensuring the participation of various stakeholders for a comprehensive and welfare-centric budget presentation.
