Himachal Pradesh BJP President Rajeev Bindal criticized Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh, stating that neither he nor the Bharatiya Janata Party needs any certification from the Congress leader. Bindal emphasized his 35 years of service as an elected public representative, considering the trust of the people as his sole validation.
Bindal highlighted the electoral setbacks faced by the Congress party in recent Panchayati Raj, Urban Local Body, and Municipal Corporation elections. He mentioned that the frustration of Congress leaders is evident in their statements, which he believes are attempts to divert public attention from the state government’s failures.
Accusing the Congress government of causing hardship to the people of Himachal Pradesh, Bindal specifically pointed out the unfulfilled promises regarding employment opportunities. Despite the Congress’s pledge to create job opportunities, Bindal stated that the government failed to deliver on its commitments, leading to discontent among the state’s youth.
On the issue of the Ram Temple, Bindal criticized the historical stand of the Congress party, alleging that it obstructed the temple’s construction for appeasement politics. He noted that the construction of the temple was made possible after years of struggle and sacrifices by devotees, contrasting it with what he perceives as the Congress’s current attempt to portray support for Lord Ram.
