Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu praised the state police for achieving the best response time nationwide under the Emergency Response Support System (ERSS-112). This accomplishment showcases the police force’s efficiency and dedication in providing timely aid to those in need. Despite the state’s challenging terrain and limited resources, Himachal Pradesh has excelled in emergency response, a source of pride for its residents.
The Chief Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to enhancing police modernization, technology-driven policing, and citizen-focused governance to bolster public safety services. He commended the ERSS-112 teams, police stations, and field officers for their consistent efforts, disciplined procedures, and effective utilization of technology, which have significantly improved response times.
Sukhu reiterated the government’s dedication to supporting the enhancement of emergency response systems and policing infrastructure in the state. He highlighted that the Himachal Pradesh Police’s disciplined work processes, technological utilization, and strong on-ground supervision have been instrumental in achieving rapid emergency responses, surpassing other states and Union Territories.
