Hockey India has revealed a 24-player Indian team for the upcoming FIH Men’s Pro League 2025–26 in Rourkela, Odisha, from February 10 to 15. Among the selections is 21-year-old Rosan Kujur from Odisha, making his debut in the senior national squad after his success in the FIH Junior World Cup 2025. Kujur’s impressive performances for Vedanta Kalinga Lancers in the Hero Hockey India League 2025–26 earned him this opportunity.
The Rourkela leg of the tournament will witness India facing off against strong teams like Argentina and Belgium, promising intense matches. The Indian team boasts a mix of seasoned players and young talent across all positions, aiming for a strong start in the Pro League campaign on home turf. The squad includes key players like Suraj Karkera, Pawan, Amit Rohidas, Harmanpreet Singh, and others, ensuring a solid defensive setup.
In the midfield, players like Rajinder Singh, Manmeet Singh, and Rosan Kujur will provide experience and creativity. Manmeet Singh, known for his stellar performances, has also been included in the squad. The forward line will be led by players such as Abhishek, Mandeep Singh, and Aditya Arjun Lalage, entrusted with the task of scoring goals. Chief coach Craig Fulton expressed confidence in the team’s blend of youth and experience, emphasizing the importance of balance and belief in their abilities to deliver top performances against tough opponents.
