Indian golfers are gearing up for a competitive showdown at the IGPL Morocco Rising Stars tournament, part of the Indian Golf Premier League Tour’s international calendar for 2026. Taking place at the Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort in El Jadida from May 28-31, the event features a prize purse of USD 160,000 and is co-sanctioned by the AM Green IGPL and the Asian Development Tour (ADT).
The Morocco Rising Stars event kicks off a series of three golfing tournaments in the country, including the upcoming AM Green IGPL Bharath Classic and the International Series Morocco presented by Visit Morocco. A significant Indian contingent will participate in all three events, marking the conclusion of the overseas leg of the tour.
The tournament boasts a strong field, with top winners from both the AM Green IGPL Tour and the ADT in 2026 competing. Notably, the event serves as a platform for emerging golfers from both tours, with the ADT acting as the developmental circuit for the Asian Tour.
CEO of IGPL, Uttam Singh Mundy, expressed enthusiasm about the tournament in Morocco, highlighting the success of Indian golfers on the international stage. Leading the Indian charge will be Pukhraj Singh Gill and Karandeep Kochhar, among other top-ranked players, set to showcase their skills at the scenic Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort.
