India’s outgoing Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Suhel Khan, met Riyadh’s Governor Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to discuss the growing bilateral relations. During the meeting, Ambassador Khan expressed gratitude for the support he received during his tenure and highlighted the positive relationship between the two countries.
As Ambassador Khan’s term comes to a close, the Ministry of External Affairs announced that Vipul, an Indian Foreign Service officer, will succeed him in Saudi Arabia. Ambassador Khan also engaged in discussions with the Saudi Ministry of Defence to enhance defense cooperation and explore new collaboration opportunities.
Furthermore, the Consul General of India in Jeddah, Fahad Ahmed Suri, and Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Madinah Branch Director General, Ibrahim bin Saeed Al-Subhi, held talks to strengthen bilateral ties and address diaspora issues of mutual interest.
