External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for achieving the milestone of becoming India’s longest-serving elected Prime Minister. Modi, with 4,399 days in office, surpassed Jawaharlal Nehru’s record. Modi’s tenure has been continuous, distinguishing him as the longest continuously serving elected Prime Minister in India’s history. Under Modi’s leadership, significant infrastructure and nation-building projects have been initiated, including the new Parliament building and the Statue of Unity.
Prime Minister Modi’s government has focused on various development projects like the Central Vista redevelopment, Kartavya Path, and the Noida International Airport. The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is set to commemorate 12 years of governance with a significant meeting in the national capital. Modi’s leadership has seen the completion of notable projects such as the INS Vikrant and the Ganga Expressway, reflecting a commitment to national progress and development.
