After venturing into Telugu with Devara: Part 1 in 2024 and trying her hand at Malayalam in the 2025 film Param Sundari, actress Janhvi Kapoor, known primarily for her work in Bollywood, admitted that Malayalam posed a significant challenge for her. She expressed her desire to learn more languages, stating that she finds all languages intriguing.

Janhvi Kapoor, who is preparing for the release of her Telugu movie “Peddi,” shared that Malayalam was particularly tough for her, leading her to believe she won’t be attempting it again soon. Despite this, she mentioned feeling more comfortable with Tamil and Telugu phonetics.

The actress is currently enjoying her Telugu film projects and is keen on exploring opportunities in Tamil cinema as well. Janhvi Kapoor’s upcoming Telugu film “Peddi,” directed by Buchi Babu Sana, features a star-studded cast including Boman Irani, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyenndu, set to hit screens on June 4.

In her recent Bollywood appearance in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari directed by Shashank Khaitan, Janhvi Kapoor starred alongside Varun Dhawan, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul, and Akshay Oberoi. The film narrates the story of Sunny and Tulsi teaming up to disrupt the wedding of their ex-partners who left them heartbroken.

Janhvi Kapoor, who made her acting debut in 2018 with the romantic drama Dhadak, has since appeared in films like Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Mili, and Devara: Part 1. She received acclaim for her portrayal of a woman facing social discrimination based on her caste in Homebound.
