Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren recently distributed appointment letters to 336 newly recruited personnel at a state-level event in Ranchi. Among the recipients were 319 assistant teachers and 17 female supervisors who received their letters during the ceremony. Soren emphasized the government’s commitment to filling thousands more vacancies within the next few months across various departments.
Addressing the gathering, Soren highlighted the recent recruitment of over 9,000 teachers in the Education Department alone in the past four months. He encouraged the new appointees to consider their roles as opportunities to contribute to society’s development, not just as sources of income. The Chief Minister specifically urged the teachers to serve diligently in rural and remote areas where there is a significant shortage of educators.
Soren expressed the government’s focus on providing employment opportunities, having already facilitated jobs for approximately 1.5 to 2 lakh individuals. He acknowledged that there are pending recruitments for various positions. The Chief Minister also underscored the importance of addressing malnutrition in the state, noting the critical role teachers and supervisors play in this regard. The government aims to nurture a healthy, educated, and self-reliant generation.
Ministers Radha Krishna Kishore and Sanjay Yadav, present at the event, emphasized the youth’s responsibility in shaping society’s future. They encouraged the newly appointed recruits to contribute positively to the community and lead by example.
