Virat Singh’s Chota Nagpur Royals will face Rajandeep Singh’s Ranchi Titans in the opening match of the Jharkhand T20 League on June 10 at the JSCA International Stadium Complex. The league’s inaugural ceremony will be graced by MS Dhoni, a highly respected cricketer from India.
Following the opener, Koylanchal Super Kings will clash with Jamshedpur Steelers, led by Utkarsh Singh and Kumar Deobrat, respectively. The Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) has released the schedule for the 27 matches, including the semi-finals and final, all to be held at the JSCA International Stadium Complex.
Six franchises, namely Ranchi Titans, Jamshedpur Steelers, Chota Nagpur Royals, Koylanchal Super Kings, Dhanbad Diamonds, and Santhal Strikers, will compete for the championship in the Jharkhand T20 League. The league aims to promote cricket in Jharkhand and provide a platform for local talent to shine on a professional stage.
JSCA officials, including President Ajay Nath Shah Deo, Vice President Sanjay Pandey, Secretary Saurabh Tiwary, and Joint Secretary Shahbaz Nadeem, expressed optimism about the league’s success. They anticipate a competitive season with a mix of young talents and experienced players showcasing their skills.
Key players like Ishan Kishan, Robin Minz, Kumar Kushagra, Anukul Roy, Sushant Mishra, Utkarsh Singh, and Virat Singh are set to participate in the Jharkhand T20 League, aiming to make their mark at various levels of cricket.
