The Chief Minister, speaking at the Kalaburagi Divisional-Level Progress Review Meeting, highlighted the need for officials to prioritize the welfare of the people. He emphasized his commitment to clean and accountable governance, stating that results matter more than excuses. Shivakumar, who began his political career at the grassroots level, emphasized the importance of efficient performance in meeting public expectations.
Shivakumar directed officials to effectively manage the drought situation and ensure prompt relief measures for affected individuals. He also instructed district administrations to prevent shortages in fertilizer supply and efficiently implement lake-filling initiatives where necessary. The Chief Minister underscored the significance of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls, emphasizing the protection of every eligible voter’s constitutional right to vote.
