Bollywood actor-filmmaker Kunal Kemmu’s family comedy series “Single Papa” has been confirmed for a second season. The Executive Producer, Shashank Khaitan, expressed that the show was designed as a long-term, family-centric narrative to evolve alongside its characters. Khaitan emphasized the audience’s deep connection with the characters, indicating that the story was always meant to continue beyond the initial season.
The series features a cast including Prajakta Koli, Manoj Pahwa, Ayesha Raza, Neha Dhupia, and others. It revolves around Gaurav Gehlot, a man-child navigating the complexities of parenthood after adopting a baby post-divorce. The show humorously portrays the challenges faced by the Gehlot family as they adjust to this unexpected change in dynamics.
Netflix India’s Tanya Bami expressed gratitude for the show’s positive reception, highlighting its impact on viewers and the discussions it has sparked on parenting and love.
