Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis emphasized the BJP’s commitment to transparency and integrity in the BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections. He stated that the party’s goal is to serve the people of Mumbai and combat self-serving interests. Fadnavis highlighted the need for exposing those who neglected the public while in power.
Fadnavis made these remarks during the inauguration of the ‘Chitra-Charitra’ exhibition organized by BJP Mumbai on Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birth anniversary. He stressed the importance of honest governance for Mumbai and expressed the party’s dedication to continuing Atalji’s legacy through the Mahayuti alliance.
The Chief Minister praised Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s vision and emphasized the transformative power of effective governance in the BMC elections. He underscored the significance of upholding principles over personal ambitions and highlighted Vajpayee’s contributions to India’s development and global stature.
Fadnavis also credited Vajpayee for his role in India’s infrastructure development and nuclear advancements despite international pressures. He commended the late former Prime Minister’s leadership in steering India towards economic growth and global recognition. BJP Mumbai President Ameet Satam lauded Fadnavis’ governance in Maharashtra, expressing confidence in the Mahayuti alliance’s success in the BMC elections.
