Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, while in Kolkata for election campaigning, highlighted the severity of the ongoing Nashik Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) investigation. Initial findings indicate allegations of sexual harassment and religious coercion being part of a systematic “module.” Fadnavis commended TCS for actively assisting the investigation instead of protecting the accused.
The investigation, involving multiple FIRs from female employees reporting harassment and mental torture between 2022 and March 2026, is progressing with the involvement of Central agencies. Fadnavis assured that strict actions would be taken and emphasized the collaborative role of TCS in ensuring justice and corporate accountability.
Nashik police are scrutinizing CCTV footage and digital communications to identify potential additional individuals linked to the alleged module. The probe has uncovered instances of religious coercion, with employees reportedly pressured to engage in practices against their beliefs. Several arrests, including senior staff and an HR official, have been made, and a Special Investigation Team (SIT) is examining the organized nature of the offenses.
