The filming for director Mathimaran Pugazhendi’s action-packed movie ‘Mandaadi’, starring Soori, has concluded. R S Infotainment, the film’s production house, shared the news on social media, expressing excitement for the sea-based action drama’s next phase. Fans are intrigued as Soori personally executed daring stunts during filming, including sea sequences without a body double.
The movie is anticipated to be a significant milestone in Soori’s career, representing his most ambitious project to date. Soori’s role in ‘Mandaadi’ is described as powerful and performance-oriented, showcasing his physical transformation. Notably, the actor’s commitment to performing high-risk actions at sea without a stunt double has been highlighted as a major strength of the film.
‘Mandaadi’ is set for a pan-Indian release in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi in the summer of 2026. The film’s sailboat racing sequences are expected to be a standout feature, offering a unique cinematic experience for viewers.
