Known for her beauty, Manisha recently appeared in the digital series “Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar,” a period drama by filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali set in 2024.
Manisha’s work in the series involved a cast including Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, and others, exploring the lives of tawaifs during the Indian independence movement in Lahore’s Heera Mandi. Prior to this, she starred in Rohit Dhawan’s “Shehzada” alongside Kartik Aaryan, playing his mother in the film, which was a remake of the Telugu movie “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.”
