Maruti Suzuki India Limited announced the selection of six startups for its 10th cohort accelerator programme. These startups, including Goat Robotics, SheerDrive, Schijnenn Digital, GenbaNEXT, Swayatt Drishtigochar, and Swiftex, will collaborate with Maruti Suzuki to develop AI-based solutions for automation and customer experience enhancement. The initiative aims to improve safety, efficiency in plant operations, reduce product development timelines, strengthen material traceability, and enhance customer engagement through digital tools.
Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, highlighted that partnering with startups will enhance safety standards in manufacturing plants, expedite product design cycles, and bolster material traceability to support circular economy efforts. Additionally, the programme seeks to empower dealer sales executives with technology-driven tools for more effective customer engagement.
The selected startups will work on various solutions, such as robotics-based material movement, AI-powered used car pricing tools, predictive maintenance systems, digital platforms for product development acceleration, material traceability solutions, and sales support platforms for dealership operations. Maruti Suzuki’s accelerator programme not only assists startups in refining and scaling their innovations but also aids the company in modernizing its operations and establishing future-ready systems.
Shares of Maruti Suzuki closed over 2% lower at Rs 13,173.60 on the BSE on Tuesday. The stock’s 52-week high and low on the exchange were Rs 17,371.60 and Rs 12,019.75, respectively.
