Bollywood actor Master Raju reminisced about the past by posting a vintage photo with legendary actress Rekha from the 1979 movie ‘Ahinsa’. The picture captures a young Master Raju being held by Rekha in a scene from the film. Rekha, dressed in a striking red saree, is seen affectionately looking at the little boy.
Master Raju, originally known as Fahim Ajani, was a prominent child actor in the 1970s and early 1980s, featuring in around 200 films during that period. He gained popularity for his roles in movies like ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, ‘Parvarish’, ‘Trishul’, and ‘Mr. Natwarlal’. Even as he transitioned to character roles in later years, he remained active in the Hindi film industry, appearing in projects such as ‘Gangaa Jamunaa Saraswati’ and various television productions.
The film ‘Ahinsa’, directed by Chand, starred actors like Sunil Dutt, Rekha, Ranjeet, Nirupa Roy, and Premnath in significant roles. Rekha, a celebrated figure in Indian cinema, made her debut with ‘Sawan Bhadon’ in 1970 and went on to deliver remarkable performances in movies like ‘Umrao Jaan’, ‘Khoobsurat’, ‘Silsila’, and ‘Krrish’.
