Grammy winner Miley Cyrus marked the “Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special” with a grand red carpet event. She acknowledged an interview as the catalyst for the revival celebration of the show. Cyrus credited the interview for igniting the buzz around the event.
During a red carpet interview in January at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, Cyrus hinted at her involvement in the anniversary plans without confirming the special outright. She playfully teased about the upcoming celebration, hinting at surprises in store.
While embracing her iconic popstar persona for the 20th anniversary, Cyrus expressed exhaustion at the thought of a “Hannah Montana” comeback. She humorously dismissed the idea of a reboot, citing fatigue from the current festivities.
The “Hannah Montana” series debuted in March 2006 on the Disney Channel, running for four seasons until 2011. Cyrus portrayed Miley Stewart, a teenager leading a double life as the famous pop star, Hannah Montana. The anniversary special, airing on March 24, includes Cyrus performing popular series’ songs and an interview with her by “Call Me Daddy” host Alex Cooper.
Cyrus’ musical journey began with successful pop rock albums, leading to chart-topping hits like “Party in the U.S.A.” and “Wrecking Ball.” She later explored diverse genres in her music career, earning accolades and Grammy Awards for her work.
