ALPHARETTA, Ga. — Mylapore South Indian Restaurant announced plans to open its first full-service, sit-down location in Alpharetta, Georgia, in April 2026, marking a major expansion for the South Indian vegetarian concept.
The upcoming Alpharetta restaurant is expected to span about 3,500 square feet and offer approximately 75 seats, along with a party hall designed for small gatherings and celebrations.
The company has also been operating a 6,500-square-foot cloud kitchen in Suwanee, Georgia, and says customer response over the past month has been strong—prompting the move to a dine-in format and a larger community-facing presence.
New location (planned):
5354 McGinnis Ferry Road
Alpharetta, GA 30005
According to the announcement, Mylapore South Indian, Mylapore Express, Idly Express, and Mylapore Cloud Kitchen are brands owned and operated by the MYLAPORE Group of companies.
The Alpharetta opening aims to bring additional options for authentic South Indian flavors to metro Atlanta’s growing dining scene, with more details expected closer to launch.
