Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav highlighted the vast potential in Nagaland’s tourism sector while underscoring the importance of dispelling outdated perceptions about the state. He urged alignment with India’s vision for 2047 and emphasized the need for progress in sync with the nation.
During an educational tour at Lok Bhavan in Kohima, students from Eden Higher Secondary School engaged in an interactive session with the Governor. Yadav encouraged the youth to study diligently, work hard, and cultivate self-confidence, emphasizing the value of perseverance and innovation beyond traditional career paths.
The Governor emphasized gender equality, stressing that women possess equal capabilities and potential as men. He called for active participation from every individual in the state’s development and advocated for the prudent use of technology to leverage its benefits effectively.
Reflecting on his own journey into public service, Yadav shared his inspiration from Jayaprakash Narayan and highlighted the intrinsic motivation required for meaningful contributions to society. He advised the youth to maintain focus on their aspirations, pursue ambitious goals with determination, and draw strength from hard work amidst challenges.
Governor Yadav’s visit to the Cathedral of Kohima showcased reverence for institutions shaping Nagaland’s cultural identity. Acknowledging the Church’s role in promoting values of peace, education, and service, he commended its significance as a symbol of faith traditions and communal unity in the state.
