The Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) also condemned the attack, emphasizing the safety of all Indian crew members aboard the targeted ship. India deplored the continuous targeting of commercial shipping and civilian mariners, urging the avoidance of actions impeding freedom of navigation and commerce. New Delhi confirmed its close monitoring of the situation, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit the UAE for bilateral discussions on enhanced maritime security cooperation.
