The National Defence Academy (NDA) is gearing up to host its 150th Passing Out parade (POP) at Pune’s Khadakwasla on May 30. This significant event will see 355 cadets being commissioned into the Indian Armed Forces. A full dress rehearsal was recently conducted at the academy grounds, setting the stage for the grand ceremony.
The dress rehearsal featured an impressive flypast by Su-30 MKI fighter jets, Sarang Team, and Akashganga, creating a spectacular aerial display. The skies above Khadakwasla came alive as jets painted the sky with breathtaking maneuvers. Vice Admiral Anil Jaggi, AVSM, NM, reviewed the Full Dress Rehearsal Parade at the Khetarpal Parade Ground, ensuring seamless coordination for the final event.
Preceding the Passing Out Parade, a convocation ceremony will take place on May 29 at Habibullah Hall in the academy. The parade will be overseen by Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi, who will serve as the Reviewing Officer. The highlight of the parade will be an awe-inspiring flypast showcasing the aerial prowess of the Indian Armed Forces, featuring Su-30 MKI Fighter Jets, Chetak Helicopters, Sarang Helicopter Aerobatics Team, and Akashganga Skydiving Team.
