A 22-year-old woman named Kajal Khatun was discovered dead under suspicious circumstances in Koderma, Jharkhand. Her family has accused her husband and in-laws of being involved in her death. The incident took place in Bagro village, and the deceased had been married to Ayan Ansari for about two months.
Following the discovery, Kajal’s husband and other relatives from her in-laws’ side went missing. Her parents protested at the scene, claiming foul play in her demise. Kajal’s husband had informed her family that she had suddenly fallen ill, prompting them to rush to her marital home where they found her lifeless on a bed.
Authorities from the Domchanch police station arrived at the scene upon notification and initiated an investigation. The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination at Sadar Hospital. Allegations from the victim’s family suggest that Kajal had faced mistreatment since marrying Ansari and hold her in-laws responsible for her death.
Koderma SDPO Pramod Keshari visited the site, interacting with the victim’s family and ensuring a thorough investigation for justice. Police are awaiting the post-mortem report to determine the exact cause of death and are actively searching for the missing husband and other in-laws’ family members. The community is tense, and authorities are exploring all leads to ensure accountability.
