Abhijeet Dipke’s parents revealed that their family faced intense pressure and even death threats during the recent nationwide student protests led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP). Despite the challenges, they expressed pride in their son for his role in the movement that resulted in the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Abhijeet’s father, Bhagwanrao Dipke, extended his blessings and congratulated his son on the successful outcome of his first activism.
Moreover, Bhagwanrao Dipke appreciated Dharmendra Pradhan for resigning, acknowledging the importance of focusing on students’ education. The family endured significant stress and threats during this period, with fears escalating to the point where they had to leave their home for nearly three weeks. They emphasized Abhijeet’s selfless dedication to leading the protest.
Abhijeet’s mother, Anita Dipke, emotionally expressed her relief and pride in her son’s achievements amidst the turmoil. She highlighted the positive impact of the Education Minister’s resignation on student welfare and commended the government for listening to their demands. Anita Dipke also criticized the use of force against student protesters during the ‘Sansad Chalo’ march on July 20, citing the distress it caused the family.
In response to the recent events, Anita Dipke mentioned plans to visit the national capital, Delhi, at her son’s request. She viewed the Education Minister’s resignation as a significant development benefiting the students and welcomed the news on the auspicious occasion of ‘Ashadhi Ekadashi.’
