In a move to bolster policing and transparency in law enforcement, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) office in Patna has reassigned 31 police officers across various stations and branches. These officers, having completed their three-year tenures, are now directed to assume their new roles promptly. Notable changes in leadership will occur at key police stations in the Patna district.

Police Inspector Dinanath Kumar Singh, previously at the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC), will now serve as the Station House Officer (SHO) at Buddha Colony Police Station. Additionally, Sanjeev Kumar, the former SHO of Ramkrishna Nagar Police Station, has been appointed as the Circle Police Inspector of Bakhtiyarpur. Manish Kumar Ambast and Sanjeev Kumar Yadav are among the officers involved in this administrative reshuffle.

The transfer order emphasizes adherence to guidelines set by the Home Department (Special Branch) for key policing appointments. It stipulates that officers with criminal convictions or facing serious allegations are ineligible for certain leadership positions. The directive also underscores strict enforcement of anti-liquor regulations, prohibiting officers involved in illicit liquor activities from holding certain posts for a decade.
