Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the India AI Impact Expo 2026 at Bharat Mandapam on Monday. The Expo, scheduled from February 16 to 20, will run concurrently with the India AI Impact Summit at the same venue, spanning 10 arenas across more than 70,000 square meters. It will bring together global tech firms, startups, academia, research institutions, Union Ministries, state governments, and international partners.
The event will showcase 13 country pavilions, highlighting international collaborations in the AI ecosystem. Countries like Australia, Japan, Russia, the UK, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Serbia, Estonia, Tajikistan, and African nations will have their pavilions. The Expo will host over 300 curated exhibition pavilions and live demonstrations, structured around three themes: People, Planet, and Progress. Additionally, it will feature 600 startups demonstrating globally relevant solutions already in use.
Anticipated to draw over 2.5 lakh visitors, including international delegates, the India AI Impact Expo 2026 aims to facilitate new partnerships and business opportunities within the global AI landscape. The event will organize more than 500 sessions with over 3250 speakers and panelists, focusing on AI’s transformative impact across various sectors and discussing future strategies to ensure AI benefits all global citizens.
The Expo is positioned as a national showcase of AI applications, bridging policy with practice, innovation with scalability, and technology with everyday life, as highlighted in a statement from the PMO.
