Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed determination to overcome obstacles hindering women’s rightful representation in Parliament. He assured the nation of the government’s unwavering commitment to women’s empowerment, emphasizing the ongoing struggle for reservation for women. PM Modi criticized the Congress and its allies for their historical resistance to women’s reservation, accusing them of relying on misinformation and diversionary tactics.

Framing the rejection of the Women’s Reservation Bill as part of a broader pattern, PM Modi highlighted the Congress party’s opposition to key reforms such as Aadhaar, GST, and digital payments. He criticized the party for obstructing progress and hindering development initiatives. PM Modi labeled the Congress as an “anti-reform” party, pointing out its resistance to various crucial measures for the country’s advancement.

Linking the Opposition’s resistance to dynastic politics, PM Modi suggested that the Women’s Reservation Bill posed a threat to entrenched political control. He accused the Congress of hindering the growth of women outside their family within the party. PM Modi concluded by emphasizing that achieving women’s rightful representation is not just about numbers in Parliament but also about combating negativity in politics, reaffirming the government’s unwavering commitment to this cause.
