Prime Minister Narendra Modi was bid farewell by five Indonesian Air Force fighter jets as he left for Australia, concluding his official visit to Indonesia. The jets flew alongside his aircraft in Indonesian airspace, symbolizing the strong ties between the two nations. Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto personally saw off PM Modi at the airport, sharing a warm hug before his departure.

This display of solidarity highlighted the deepening relationship between India and Indonesia. During his visit, PM Modi emphasized the new opportunities for collaboration in defense, security, maritime cooperation, technology, and capacity building.
