Punjab took a significant step towards enhancing its industrial sector by introducing the Industrial and Business Development Policy 2026. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann unveiled the policy alongside Minister for Industries and Commerce Sanjeev Arora. The event drew around 200 industrialists and sector representatives, showcasing strong interest in Punjab’s industrial future.
The newly launched policy is hailed as a progressive framework that aims to bolster Punjab’s standing as a hub for manufacturing, services, and emerging technologies. It offers a variety of incentives and reforms to attract investments, positioning Punjab as an attractive destination for investors. Minister Arora emphasized the policy’s unique flexibility, allowing investors to select incentives and durations according to their preferences.
Punjab’s government envisions the Industrial and Business Development Policy 2026 as a catalyst for industrial growth, enhancing the state’s competitiveness and creating employment opportunities. The state is set to host the Progressive Punjab Investors’ Summit 2026 from March 13-15 at Plaksha University in Mohali. The summit will showcase Punjab’s industrial vision and investment prospects, welcoming both domestic and global investors to explore opportunities in the state.
