The Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee (RPCC) expressed satisfaction with the Congress-led alliance’s win in Kerala after ten years. State Congress Chief Govind Singh Dotasra credited party leaders like Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, K.C. Venugopal, and Priyanka Gandhi for the victory. Dotasra criticized the BJP for alleged misuse of institutions during the recent Assembly elections in five states.
Dotasra highlighted the challenges faced by Congress workers but praised their dedication that contributed to the party’s success in Kerala. He also raised concerns about electoral irregularities in West Bengal and questioned the role of institutions like the Election Commission of India. Dotasra accused central agencies, including the Enforcement Directorate and Income Tax Department, of being misused during the elections.
The State Congress President expressed worry over voter list revisions and the status of voters under “pending adjudication.” He questioned the removal of government officials during the West Bengal elections and speculated on similar actions in BJP-ruled states. Dotasra criticized enforcement actions against political consultants during the election period, labeling them as unprecedented.
Dotasra further criticized the BJP government in Rajasthan for prioritizing celebrations over governance. He urged the state leadership to focus on critical issues like unemployment, water scarcity, and law enforcement. Dotasra emphasized the importance of upholding democratic norms to ensure a fair electoral process and called for impartial functioning of institutions.
